Wow, Blogger recognition Award..Wow, I am so happy that I have been nominated for this award by Tokens of Expression. It feels special that you took out time to nominate my blog for this recognition.

So my advice to new bloggers:

Well, I do not think I can provide a lot of perspective to new audiences here as I am just a month old to this world of blogging but yes there are few things which I have realized in last 1 month. These are:

(A) Be yourself. Do not write for others. Do not write for anyone else but yourself. Write because it makes you happy and gives you comfort, not because you want to get noticed.

(B) Let your emotions speak. Emotions bring out the best content ever. Do not worry about fancy words. It is okay to write in normal English without heavy words. The important thing is that your post should look original

(C) Respect every blogger. Everyone teaches you in the journey of you becoming a versatile blogger. Do pay attention to advice and inputs by your fellow bloggers

(D) Do accept criticism. Please note that this world of blogging comprises of people who are there to write, to share and to help others without any hidden benefit of theirs. So if in case, someone provides feedback on your post, appreciate the comment and incorporate the same into your writing.

How did my blog start??

I always use to scribble in my notebook but never thought of writing my own blog. Why? well, there is no reason to it. Should I call the circumstances around me or lack in my own motivation. No concrete answer!!

One night I remember it was late in the night and I was talking to one of my friend about life, world and all those philosophical world issues (you realise you become a philosopher after 2 rounds of whiskey). She is a big time book fan and then she asked me to write on a proper blog. I am embarrassed to say that a month back i did not even know about WordPress.

I wrote my first post while I was travelling in train (link: The Journey Begins). The response was much better than I expected and thanks to so many amazing bloggers here, I kept on writing and this would be possibly my 21st post. 

I am glad that I have started writing and it has helped me connect to the inner Niraj.
