This post doesn’t need any explanation. I am sure every son or daughter would relate to it. It’s just few words from my heart to my dad!!

I miss you!!

Mujhe har pal aapki yaad aati hai,

Kabhi safar karte hue, kabhi taare takte hue,

Kabhi hasi ke lamho me, kabhi aansuon me,

Har lamha mujhe tadpati hai,

Dad, mujhe har pal aapki yaad aati hai

Kabhi bheed me, toh kabhi akeli raahon me

Kabhi suraj ki roshni me, kabhi taaron ki chamak me

Kabhi baarish ki boondo me, kabhi surkh hawaon me,

Aapka hasta hua chehra dikhla jati hai,

Dad, mujhe har pal aapki yaad aati hai

Kitne mausam gujar gaye, kitne baras beet gaye

Kitne sapne tut gaye, kitne aansu sukh gaye

Aapka intezar karte karte, kitne lamhe bikhar gaye

Mere tute dil ko ek malham laga jati hai

Dad, mujhe har pal aapki yaad aati hai

Maut ka intezaar kiya, umeed thi aapse milne ki

Tasveer me aapki nur tha, meher thi us rab ki

Saaya dikha ek aurat ka aapki tasveer me haste hue

Meri maa ko jeene ki takat de jati hai

Dad, mujhe har pal aapki yaad aati hai
